I am interested in your Hazelwood family and in your statement about "Mary Hazelwood dau of Randolph Hazelwood and Anne (Ward) Madrey.
I believe Randolph Hazelwood's father was Richard, mother unk."
I believe that the family of our William Hazelwood, born c1802 in NC, was probably from Warren Co.,
because William named one of his sons George Warrick Hazelwood.
William married Priscilla Powell c1820-25 either in NC or in Lawrence Co., AL,
where he lived for about 20 years before moving on to Amite Co. in southwest Mississippi.
His relative David Henry Hazelwood, probably his younger brother born c1807 in NC, had already
moved to Amite Co. before 1835 but probably did not make the intermediate move to Alabama.
I will appreciate very much hearing from you if you can help me with how these two Hazelwood men
might connect to the Warren Co. Hazelwoods.
