Helping a friend research her Boone Family. Looking for any information on a William Monroe Boone (b. Jun 1857) and his ancestors. Some researchers have him born in Wilson Co, NC but I haven't found any evidence to support that. A family story has him born in Virginia, but traveled to NC when he was 14 yr old.

He is listed in the 1900 TN Census with wife and children, but I haven't been able to find him in the 1860, 1870 or 1880 census.
