She was born in Norway and her mother was never married to her father (just they way it was back then). I have her birth record from Norway. Her mother Anna had 2 daughters in Norway, Sena and Bessie, both with different fathers. Never have found any more records on the fathers other than them being listed as the fathers in the church records. Anna and her daughters came over to the US with her father, step-mother, sister (my great grandmother) and a brother in 1898. Their last name was Kvamme/Qvamme.

In the 1900 census for Richland, Sena is listed by her birth name Jensine living with her mother, step-father (listed as her father), and older sister Bessie living in the same house as Anna's father Jens.
