"Bride" Train

Surnames: Rinker
In 1889 or 1890, Margaret Jane Rinker and Susan Emma "Louise" Rinker set out from Belleaire, heading out West to marry miners. This has been part of our family lore for years. Recently, I have been trying to find out about this journey, and have been hitting blank walls. No one knows a thing about it. Margaret ended up in LaPlata County, Colorado and married John Evans Davies in June of 1890. Is there any information in Belmont county, Ohio of a group of women doing such. OR it could have been a "mail order" bride trip. Is there any record of such a venture in Belmont County, Ohio?

Also, the Rinker family spent several generations living in Belleaire, would there be any mention in a newspaper about the 2 sisters leaving to head West?

Thanks for any information anyone can provide.
