My ggrandmother SARAH M. SCHMACHER (spelling ?) was born in Adams Co., OH supposedly Oct. 10, 1817. Information in 1860 Stewart Co. TN Census shows her born closer to 1824. She married SYLVESTER BARNEY (Baker ?) STEWART in Highland Co. OH June 30, 1842. They had 6 children. 2 were born in OH. Thomas b. 1844 ? and Emma b. 1846 ?. They then moved sometime between 1846 and 1850 to Stewart Co. TN. Their next child Jacqueline was born in 1850 in TN. They had 3 boys born in TN. Walter Scott b. March 1854, Sylvester or (Barney)(my grandfather) b. June 1856, and Wilson P. b. Feb.1860.
They moved to Nebraska in approx. 1890. Speculation is that they were in Kentucky. Possibly Winchester or Maysville ? before going to Page (Holt Co.) Nebraska.
Other names that became linked to Stewart were POWELL and WANSER

If any of this information fits into your family tree, please call me or if you come across info. that relates, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks for your help!!!!
