In Liberty, Clinton Ohio there was a Rebecca Camp, head of household whose household in 1840 included one person each in the catagories Boys 1 - 1-5, 1 - 5-10, 1 - 1-15 Girls 1 - 1-5, 1- 5-10, 1- 40-50

In 1850 they were in Berrien County Michigan

Miner Camp 21
Benjemin Camp 17
William Camp 11
Samuel Camp 28

What happened to the girls when she moved to Michigan?

It appears that MR CAMP must have died around 1839 to have William be 1 in the 1840 census. Unless he was just "away" somewhere.

Does anybody have any information on this family?

Samuel's obit said he was born in Clinton County Ohio . . so I am hoping I have the right family.

It is my understanding there are a lot of inter-mariages between the Camp and Minor families . . accounting for the son named Miner Camp.

Any help would be appreciated.
