I'd look for a death record for Caroline Dunn Kyle in Spokane - after area, 13 Oct 1911 and later, but before 1917. My guess is she died 1911-1913 (or there might have been another child about 1913??? Perhaps childbirth, perhaps the polio epidemic?

By 1917, WIlliam is in MA - and remarried, so he had to either move & find a wife, and marry or move with Caroline and she dies, then find a wife & marry. My guess - only a guess - is that she died & then he moved. But - if you don't find her in Spokane area, look in the MA area that William settles in (Middlesex). In any case - it looks like Caroline & William were out of OH by 1909.

Look for their children's info - perhaps a child's obit states something like ... after mother died when they were ___ years old.....

So, it seems she was born Dec 1884, had at least 3 children - 1 in OH (Howard 1908), and 2 (Norma 1909 & William 1911)in WA.
