Robert E. Kibele, age 96, born in Columbus, Ohio died peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Kobacker House.
Bob graduated from North High School in Columbus, Ohio and The Ohio State University with a BS in engineering.

He joined the Curtiss-Wright Corporation (North American Aviation) as an aeronautical engineer where he worked for 38 years both in California and in Columbus before retiring.

Bob was fascinated by the world and throughout his life pursued with great enthusiasm its wonders: science, technology, nature and the arts.
He loved cooking and exploring new restaurants.
He had a wonderful sense of humor, relishing "the con."
He loved his family dearly and his many friends, young and old, both in Columbus, Ohio and Marco Island where he spent three months every winter.
He attributed his longevity to his love of scotch.
Preceded in death by his wife Betty and his daughter Jean Kibele Cook.
Survived by his daughter, Judith Kibele Isaac (Fred); his son-in law, Joseph R. Cook; and his step-granddaughters, Tina Isaac-Goize (Francois) and Hope Isaac Mihailovich (Draggan) and their children.
A Celebration of Life followed by a reception will be held at Scioto Country Club, 2196 Riverside Drive, Columbus, Ohio on October 15, 2013 at 5 p.m.
