Mary Jane -- I have James TODD who came from NC or SC with his in-laws, John and Jane (TRINDLE) BUCHANAN, to the Nashville, TN area in 1779. He had three daughters and a son come to Greene County, Ohio in the early 1800's: they were Mrs. Henry PHILLIPS, Polly (TODD) CASBOLT, Rebecca (TODD) DAVIDSON, and John Buchanan TODD. Are we talking the same James TODD? Mine, I thought, died in 1806, because in that year his heirs were trying to recover his property in the Nashville, TN area.
