Elaine I. Morgan

Elaine I. Morgan, 70, of 2041 Lower Bellbrook Rd., Spring Valley, died Sunday evening at Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 13, 1923, in Lisbon, Ohio, the daughter of Fred E. and Zora Marie Crawford Franks. She was a former member of the Spring Valley Friends Meeting and attended the New Burlington Friends Meeting.
She is survived by her mother of Salem, Ohio; her husband, Robert C. Morgan, whom she married June 10, 1941; three daughters and sons-in-law; Carole and David Algar of Alberta, Canada, Marilyn and David Knisley of Xenia, Jeneene and Rob Gibbs of Wilmington; three sons-and-daughters-in-law, Robert Morgan of Xenia, Rodney and Esther Morgan of Gainesville, Fla., Roger and Susan Morgan of Wilmington; 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Oren, Richard and Charles Franks, all of Salem, Ohio. she was preceded in death by her father; one granddaughter, Rhonda Pollock; and two brothers, Fred and Gerald Franks.
Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., with Pastor Charles Ellison officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at the Spring Valley Cemetery. Contributions may be make to Hospice of Clinton County or to the New Burlington Friends Meeting.
