Searching for information on the Creechs' of Hamilton Co., formerly of Lee Co., Va--Elisha & Isaac--and their descendants. Elisha Creech married Mary Willis ca 1809 in Lee Co., Va; Isaac m Margaret ca 1806 and both enlisted in the War of 1812 from that county. They were in Hamilton Co., Oh by 1816. Isaac & Margaret had at least five children, three known, Jane, never married; Margaret m Benjamin Crowell; & Cynthia m Henry Flinchpaugh.

Elisha & Mary had at least ten children, among them are, John m Edith Stillwall, migrated to Kansas; Willis m #1 unknown, #2 Dorthea, he died ca 1848; William m Hannah Flinchpaugh; Stephen m Martha Stewart, he died 1895, Decatur Co., In; & James m Mary, died in Champaign Co., Il.

Willis' daughter Eliza Ann m #1 Lambert Scudder, m#2 James R. Markland, she died 1900 Decatur Co., In. His son, Theodore m Bridget Ann Reed in Champaign Co., Il. Theodore died 1923 in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada. Children by second wife Dorthea: Mary Amanda m Thomas Pavey, she died 1885 Cheviot, dau Hattie m John Rahe; Caroline m John W. Gain, she died 1928 Cincinnati; Susan, never married; & Margaret m Horace Hearn, she died 1935 Hamilton Co.
