Today at a bookstore, I was searching for any of my names in the index. There appeared a name that I had seen for the first time, just this week, on our Highland Co BBS, "TETER".
Remembering your query, I spent more time looking and then bought the book.

You may have already seen this and this reply to you may not be necessary. Nevertheless, the title is "ROSS COUNTY, OHIO FAMILIES BICENTENNIAL EDITION", by Ross County Genealogical Society, 1976.

Being in a store, and without notes, I looked up those few "TETER" pages and found several pages where my other names, DAVIS and SHOEMAKER were on the same page, sometimes also with "TETER". Maybe we can make something out of this.

Rather than copy so much material, let me just mention surname combinations to see if they relate to you. If they do, let me know and I will photocopy those pages.
