I am looking for any family members of John D. Smith, who died in either Marion or Claridon Townships on 3 February 1944. He was born 23 November 1855 in Morrow County and lived in Marion County most of his life.

If anyone can do an obituary look-up in a local paper or could direct me to a likely paper, that would be very helpful.

I am interested in John because I believe his father, also John D. Smith, was related to one of my ancestors. Knowing what the initial "D" stood for would actually help me out a lot!
