SHILOH - Vivian B NEWTON ADAMS, 86, of 765 Ohio 96 (sic) died early Thursday morning from injuries she received in an auto accident. She was born 2 April 1906 in Crestline, and lived in the Mansfield area most of her life. Mrs ADAMS was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she was active in WMCS. She also belonged to Ruth Chapter 17 Order of the Eastern Star and Baku Grotto Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Goral ADAMS of Mansfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert J and Jeanne NEWTON of Mansfield; two daughters and a son-in-law, Margaret "Peg" MAWER of Mansfield and Carol and Robert ALGER of Peckerington; three stepsons and two step-daughters-in-law, Hubert and Sandy ADAMS, Ronald and Janeen ADAMS, and Larry ADAMS, all of Mansfield; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, JW NEWTON, and a brother, Hobart DAVIS. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 pm at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 pm by the Rev Jack Yeager.
