Family records has it that William Bedell & Family moved to Ohio in 1836. I suspect, since the Bedell's and Jordan's are related by marriage, they moved about the same time. Thus, this is why they didn't show in the 1830 Census. Can't explain the 1840 Census though, unless my information (1836) is wrong.
