Wesley Eugene MEEKS

Wesley Eugene Meeks, son of Raymond Louie and Jewel Winnie Davis Meeks was born on March 23, 1941 in Tulare, CA and departed from this life on June 19, 2010 in Ft. Smith AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Meeds. Surviving are his daughters, Sharon Breedlove (Ken) of Merced, CA, Darla Bundy (Royd) of Elko NV, brothers Bill Ray Meeks of Westville, OK, Melvin Meeks (Diane) of Tulare, CA, sisters, Mildred Williams (Eddy) of Henryetta, OK, Reena Melancon (Ronnie) of Woodland CA, Virgie Ripke of Spokane, WA, 6 grandchildren, 8 gr-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:00am on Thursday June 24, 2010 at Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. James Duffell officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Emma McLEMORE

Emma Susan Jones McLemore was born June 21, 1953 to Ella Jones. She departed this life on Thursday June 24, 2010. On Dec. 26, 1982 Emma married Leo McLemore. Emmas was preceded in death by her parents Ella Jones Scraper and by one daughter Joanna Jones.

Survivors include, husband Leo McLemore, one brother Douglas Scraper of Stilwell, four sisters, Veronica O'Field (Mike) of Park Hill, Kathryn Christie (Jack) of Stilwell, Eleaine Philemonof and Diane Pruitt of Stilwell.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Monday June 28, 2010 at the Clear Springs Cemetery in Stilwell. Brother John Gonzales will preside. Services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.

Joe BEARPAW

Joe Bearpaw, age 82, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Sunday June 20, 2010 in Tahlequah, OK.

He was born Feb. 9, 1928 in Stilwell, OK son of John and Martha Vann Bearpaw.

Mr. Bearpaw was an Army veteran serving two tours of duty in the Korean Conflict.

Survived by his wife Lois Bearpaw and beloved dog Lily, daughters Brenda Meade, Oak Grove, Sharon Harris, Kansas City, MO, Marsha Frogge, Boynton Beach, FL; sons Russell Moore, Camdenton, MO and Michael Moore Stover, MO., ten grandchildren, 19 gr-grandchildren and one gr-gr-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Serivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles, MO.

Timothy John CASKEY

Timothy John Caskey, son of Robert and Joyce Caskey was born in Jacksonville, FL on July 21, 1958 and passed away on June 20, 2010 in Stilwell, OK.

Preceded in death by his parents, survived by his wife La Fonda Caskey, children Patrick Neil Wright (Christina) of Tulsa, OK, Megan Lea Wright of Sapulpa, OK, grandchildren Christopher Lathan of Crosby, TX, Mackinze Dawn Wright of Sapulpa, OK, Barandon James Wright of Tulsa, OK, Katelynn Jade Wright of Tulsa, OK; Brothers Robert Caskey (Rhanda) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Pat Caskey (Rae) of Marengo, IL sisters Ruth Ross (Ron) of Algonquin, IL, Vicki Zauld of Elgin, IL.

Graveside services were held at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Stilwell City Cemetery with Bro. Herman Jones officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.

Andrew BOLIN

Andrew Bolin, 82 was born at Watts, OK, April 24, 1928 to Jay Hiram and Myrtle Painter Bolin. Andrew passed away June 23, 2010 at Quail Ridge Health & Rehab Center in West Siloam Springs, OK.

He went to Corpus Christi, TX in 1949 where he met and married Betty Rose Edwards on Oct. 6, 1950.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Larry Joe Bolin, two sisters Bea Carr of CA and Katie Fleig of KS; two brothers Loy (Bud) Bolin and George Bolin of Stilwell.

Andrew is survived by his wife of 60 years Betty Rose, daughter Lea AnneJohnson (Ted) Elkins, AR; son Michael Bolin (Joyce) of Stilwell. five grandchildren; Aaron Doyle, Spencer Doyle and Candice Johnson of Springdale, AR; Derrick and Robin Doyle of Ft. Worth, TX; James and Andrea Bolin of Stilwell. Gr-grandchildren Adrienne Doyle of Springdale and Blake Doyle of Bentonville, AR; Sisters Margaret Bunch of Madera, CA, Daisy Philips of Corpus Christi, TX, Sue Rich of Stilwell, Jewel Hall (Pat) of Anthony, KS, Sadie Isaacs (Dusty) of Muldrow, OK, brother Leon Bolin of Stilwell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Hubert Sponsler and Terry Tatum will preside. Interment will follow at the Chuculate Cemetery. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home.

Annie Alline ROSS

Alline Ross of Stilwell, OK passed away at the Stilwell Nursing Home on June 24, 2010, she was 91.

Alline was born Aug. 3, 1918 to Luther Allen and Mayme Harris Ferguson Clark in Eagle,
CO. She married Fred Talmadge "Jim" Ross. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim (Jun 26, 1984)and son Jimmy (Oct. 29, 2008).

She is survived by son Bobby (Kathleen) and children Victoria Davis (Terry), Katrin Sterkel (Doug), Patricia Ross, Bobby Ryan Ross (Valerie) Wendy Higgins (Brad) Patricia Bogle (Jay) and Mark Jackson (Brenda) Her son Jimmy's children, Janice Olsen (Eric),Bill Ross, and Ben Ross (Heidi). There are 18 gr-grandchildren and one gr-gr-granchild.

Viewing will be held on Monday, June 28th at the Hart Funeral Home, Highway 100 West, in Stilwell and the memorial service follows on Tuesday June 29th at the First Christian Church, 306 Second St. Stilwell, OK. Pastor Kevin Spurlock will officiate.

Charles Preston DODD

Charles Preston "Son Son" Dodd, son of Charles Edward and Donna Faye McIntosh Dodd was born in Claremore, OK on April 24, 1976 and passed from this life on June 17, 2010 in Fayetteville, AR.

Survived by his wife Dawn, children; Allen Ray Thompson II., Cydney Dawn Dodd, Preston James Dodd "Hootie" Westville, OK; mother Donna Faye Shockley (Henry "Hank") of Westville, OK, father; Charles Edward Dodd of Bartlesville, OK, sisters Demetra Matthews (companion A. P.) of Dallas, TX, Charlene Josephine Lee (Andre) of Chicago, IL. stepmom Lorice Birch of Wichita, KS.

Funeral services were held at 10:00am on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Westville Pentecostal Holiness Church, Westville, OK with Chief of Long Valley Stomp Grounds. George Stopp officiating. Interment at 3:30pm at Matoka Family Cemetery, Washington County, OK under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home Westville, OK.

Eli TURTLE

Eli Turtle, son of Young and Emma McLemore Turtle was born Apr. 7, 1932 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on June 19, 2010 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 78.

Eli was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Charlie and Rebecca Hopper Turtle who raised him of Stilwell, also one brother Henry Turtle.

He is survived by 4 daughters Ruth Holiman (Jeff) Emma Tune, Shirley Martin (Johnny) and Dianna Turtle of Stilwell OK. Grandchildren Michelle Holliman, Garrett Tune, Courtney Holliman and Jacob Martin all of Stilwell, OK. 1 brother, William Turtle (Nina) of Kansas, OK.

Funeral services were held at 2:00pm on Wed. June 23, 2010 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Woods officiating. Interment followed at McLemore Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
