I am interested in any and all information pertaining to the Updegroves of Anadarko, Oklahoma. Especially any pictures that might turn up or newspaper articles,etc.
My grandfather, Thomas Franklin and his wife Mary Jane Gonder (Jennie) moved to Anadarko just after 1900. My father William Gonder Updegrove was born in Anadarko Oct. 5, 1905.
They owned SE/4 Section 34-7N-10W which sits up on a hill. I know that Thomas canned and sold fruits and vegetables, was a superintendent of schools, and made cinder blocks.
