My husband's grandfather, John Gates JONES (b. 5 March 1883 in Grant, OK; d. 2 Sept 1954, bur, at Grady IOOF Cem. in Ringling, OK) was married to Johnnie Beatrice NEWNAM (b. 25 Aug 1890 in Texas; buried at Lone Grove, Carter County, OK). John Gates JONES was the son of Rev. Wilson Samuel JONES, Jr. (b. Jan 1859, d. 9 Feb 1899, buried at Goodland, OK) and Francis A. WILLARD (b. at Ft. Towson, OK; d. 1912, buried at Goodland, OK). Rev. Wilson Samuel JONES, Jr. and Francis A. WILLARD were married on 24 Dec 1880 at Pleasantview, Choctaw Nation, by Rev. John P. TURNBULL. Francis A. WILLARD and her sister Harriet WILLARD were the daughters of S. M. WILLARD and his wife Martha G. (maiden name unknown). Both S.M. & Martha WILLARD were deceased prior to the 1896 census. Their burial location in unknown. Harriet WILLARD (buried in the Doaksville Cem.) was married to the minister who performed her sister's wedding ceremony, Rev. John P.
