In honor of T.J. McGhee’s 64th birthday, the following gathered at the home of Leonard Preston near Needmore Sunday to celebrate same; Jeff Foust and wife; Pearl HAMPTON and family; Guillie McGhee and family; T.J. McGhee, J.R. McGhee and family; Fox McGhee, wife and sister; Will Dennis and family; Mrs. Keller, son and daughter; L.B. Prather and family; Albert Grimes; Lee Domons; Miss Myrtle Hampton; Minnie Roberson; and Ben Fayette Duncan. At the noon hour the gathering repaired to the dining room where a table heavily laden with delicious dainties stood, all doing justice to the spread. It was a great family reunion, there being people present from Miami, Fairland, Needmore and Grove.

Friday night about 2 o’clock while a. Hampton was slumbering peacefully a heavy picture frame fell from the wall, cutting a very bad gash on his ear and the side of his head and now Uncle Andy has a very sore head.

Mrs. A. Hampton lost a good horse last night. He took sick Sunday and Guy Trotter took him to Vinita to the veterinary. He got worse and was not able to be brought home. He died last night. It is thought he had indigestion.

The little infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. T. Hampton died Monday afternoon of pneumonia. She had been ill only a short time. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A.M. Dupree, pastor of the M.E. Church so. of this place, at 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.
