My good friend, Merlin Abbott, is the son of Raymond and ?? Walton Abbott. His mother was a granddaughter of George Walton. I knew the Abbotts well, and I recently met Lonnie Walton, 93, a resident of Shattuck who was in the hospital in Enid. He is Merlin's uncle.
