In ELLIS COUNTY CEMETERIES there are two burials in the DeBolt Cemetery near Arnett:

KINCADE, Ulyses S. 11 Dec 1864 - 16 Mar 1905
KINCADE, Flora A. 24 Nov 1874 - 10 Dec 1906

(the way they are listed there are six graves between them)?

These are the only Kincades buried in Ellis County according to the records.

According to it, "Of the original family , Faye, Ada, and Arthur Warren remained in Arnett after teh others departed. Faye had married Charlie Shelton. Ada was a teacher in the Arnet Public Schools (1911-1912) and married Roy Wilbur Lane on July 20, 1913. Arthur Warren moved to Gage to work in the bank. He married Josephine Igou."

I grew up in Ellis County and remember these people. The Arthur Kincades visited their relatives in Arnett, and the town was always in a stir by a man of his importance. There was a tragedy in the family but I cannot remember any of the details. The Shelton families are prolific in the Arnett area, and the descendants from those families are now
intermarried with many other families. I also remember the Lanes slightly. My sister worked in the postoffice in Arnett for many years and was postmaser when she retired a few years ago. She and her husband still live in Arnett.
