Hello!

I'm Jordan Harrison Nelson, son of William Harrison (Helena), son of William Ellis (Helena), son of John Harrison (Carrier/Enid/Helena), son of William Caldwell Nelson (settled in Carrier in run of 1893).

I know a lot of my extended family lives in the Enid area, and the Carrier area. I also went to the Nelson family reunion in Enid a few years ago (2007? I think). I am from the John Harrison Nelson (b 1886) line of William Caldwell Nelson and Hester Ann File, who ran in the Run of 1893. I know a lot of the family around Enid is from the William Chalmers Nelson (brother of John Harrison, also son of William Caldwell and Hester Ann) line.

I was just wondering if any of yall are on here, or any other relatives of the Nelsons who homesteaded in Garfield county, or Alfalfa county (John Harrison moved to Helena, where his son/my grandpa and my dad all grew up).

I live in Oklahoma as well, and I have spent a lot of time at our family farm in Helena over the years, but am looking for any and all additional information that can be found on the Nelsons in Oklahoma, as I really like history in general and family history specifically!

I was also wondering if anyone has any photos of the Nelsons either in Oklahoma or prior to coming to Oklahoma from Illinois (William C. and Hester being from Bond County, IL). I have been in contact with one user who has a photo of William Caldwell and Hester Ann, the first I had seen.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Would love to know if anybody is on here; we may have met at the reunion a few years ago! I have graduated college and am now living in Ardmore.
