Roy Campbell, son of Rev J W Campbell of Medford, died Monday morning, in his bed. He has been subject to heart disease for some time, and was so sick Sunday night that his parents sat up with him. He died suddenlly Monday morning. His remains were laid to rest in the Medford Cemetery Tuesday, Rev. Finch, of this place, preaching the funeral sermon. Roy was 18 years old and had been a member of the Baptist church for 9 years. The Wakita Herald, January 30, 1903.
