I am researching the Waldroup family. Loran A. Waldroup resided in Gordon co. GA in 1850 and 60. He married Nancy Elizabeth Moore and they had children: Josie Waldroup b Gordon co, GA c1865, James Isaac Waldroup b Gordon co, GA 1867, Alonzo D. Waldroup b Gordon co, GA c1869. This family moved to Ellis/Wise county are of Texas before 1894. James Isaac married Amanda (Mandy) Tennessee Roberts 1894 in Ellis co, TX. They are reported to have lived in Springtown TX (Parker co) and are on the 1900 census for Wise co, TX. They moved to Holdenville, Hughes co, OK before 1910. Loren A Waldroup died there and is buried there. James Isaac and Amanda Waldroup also died there and are buried there. Alonzo D. Waldroup resided in Ennis and died there. Josie Waldroup married Dr. James D. Ray and resided in Fort Worth, TX. She is buried there.
