My father,Arvin Kelly HAMILTON, was born in/near Wetumka, Hughes Co., Okla. in 1911. He lived there with his parents (Fed/not Fred) and Eva Hamilton and 4 siblings:Earl; Obern; Ellis & Lois. They also lived near Bearden, Okla. which was in Okfuskee Co.

MAHAFFEY: Looking for any knowledge of :Jacob Wesley MAHAFFEY who was my great-grandfather. Supposed to have been born in Ms. or Ala. in 1858. Possibly Okla. or Indian Territory. His grandfather and father were possibly: William and John Mahaffey. Wm. being from Tennessee. Wm. said to have gone to Okla. with Holden Ward and Indians as a butcher. Either Wm. or John may have married Indian woman named E.S. White. Mahaffeys from then on supposedly Choctaw. J.W. married Missouri Elizabeth (Lizzie) Loftin/on from Ms. My grandmother was their daughter (Eva MAHAFFEY Hamilton). J.W. had numerous children whose names were:William James; Martin van Buren; Emmet Wesley; Lillian Edna; Oscar Ernest;
Vernard; Virgil; Vernon(Arvin);Daisy Ethel; Etta May; Ada; Clyde; Clarence;Eva.

Mo. Eliz. married a man named Whaley, Jake after 1909. She died in Calif. in 1932.
