Georgia Ann Jenner (cousin to my g-g-grandfather George Washington Jenner) and Madison Anthis moved to the Mulhall, Logan County, OK area around 1890, following their sons who took place in the 1889 land run. Much of the family history was preserved by their granddaughter Lulu Anthis Pritchett.
The information I have on the Pritchett family follows:
Edd Bernard Pritchett was born on Jan 31 1886 in Danville, Illinois. He died on Aug 23 1978. He was buried about Aug 27 1978 in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Mulhall, Logan County, Oklahoma. He was married to Lulu Ethel Anthis (daughter of Charles Henry Anthis and Mary Elizabeth Bowman) on May 26 1915 in Kingfisher. Lulu Ethel Anthis was born on Aug 8 1890 in Mulhall, Logan County, Oklahoma. She died on Apr 27 1987. She was buried about May 1 1987 in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Mulhall, Logan County, Oklahoma. Lulu Anthis Pritchett painted a scene depicting the Jordan River in the Baptistry of the Mulhall Christian Church during a 1956 remodeling. Lulu and Edd farmed 320 acres of land just north of the Cimarron River, on both sides of highway 77. They turned the operation of the farm over to their son-in-law when they had reached the ages of 80 and 84. Edd Bernard Pritchett and Lulu Ethel Anthis had the following child:
Eddie Lou Pritchett, born on Feb 11 1925. She was married to Hump Halsey.
I photographed and filmed the Anthis and Pritchett stones at the Rose Lawn Cemetery in April of 1999.
