My great-grandmother, Hassie Proffitt, was a teacher at the Lone Star School (School Dist #33) in Logan County from 1928-1931. I am attaching some photos of her's here as well as her teaching contract. There are also some photos of her, her sister, and her friends. If anyone can identify anyone not already identified in these photos, please let me know. Luckily, some are labeled. If anyone knows exactly where the Lone Star school was located, please let me know. I believe her parents lived in Crescent for awhile, so I'm not sure if the school was there or not. My grandmother seems to think it was.
