Emma Ann Govett was a waistcoat maker. In 1848, on December 14, she married Robert Archibald Hill in Christ Church, St. George in the East, Middlesex, London, England.
In 1850 she had a daughter, Emma, who died the same year, and Emma died either then or shortly afterwards.
Robert Archibald re-married to Martha See, and the couple lived for a while with Emma's brother, George Govett, who was 30 in 1861 and a tin plate maker. George's wife was Mary Ann, and they had a son George, daugters Margaret (who may have been named for Robert's sister) and Alice.
All were born in Middlesex.
I would like to know more about the Govett family.
Thank you, Ivy Trott.
