H. D. Hilderbrandt in 1906 owned 160 acres (northeast quarter) and an adloining 80 acres in Section 3 towship 23 range 16 in Jones Township Woods county, OK He apparently purchased this land in 1898. This land is now in Major county.. His Mailing address in 1960 was Belva which was and still is in Woodward county . Belva is shown on todays maps. The Hilderbrandt land is some 5 or6 miles east of Belva and south of the Cimarron River.
