Ok, I must be missing poor old James Sly from my work. I only have two children of David Sly and Tilda Fuller, Elizabeth and William Henry. I can account for each of them and most of their children. Another generation back, david's parents were Jacob Sly II and Sarah Pickett had 11 children so could it be possible that James was not a brother of Elizabeth but a cousin. I do not know the date of death of Elizabeth. The story I heard from my Grandfather and father that she died is a nursing home in Guthrie okla, I have to assume it was in the 30's. Now for the good stuff about the sly's and Reed's in and around Mulhall at about the turn of the century. If you google Zack Mulhall you will see a story where he was charged with attempted murder for shooting three people in St. Louis in 1904. One was Frank Reed the other two unnamed.
