The oraganization you seem to be speaking of sounds like First Families of the Twin Territories through the Oklahoma Genealogical Society. You have to be able to document that your direct-line family was in Oklahoma or Indian Territory before statehood, Nov. of 1908. The application is available online at www.okgensoc.org.
