Nash, OK. -- The funeral for Della Audine Doty, 77, was Wed., Sept. 17, 2003 at the Dacoma, OK. United Methodist Church with the Rev. Midge Carey officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery north of Carmen, OK., directed by Wentworth Mortuary of Carmen, OK. She died Sept. 14, 2003 in Enid, OK.
She was born March 25, 1926, in Augusta, KS., to George and Martha Parker. She attended schools at Dacoma, OK. In 1943, she married Harvey Doty. They lived on a farm west of Dacoma. The family moved to Wichita, KS. in 1952. She worked at Cessna Aircraft for 25 years before retiring, then moved to Wakita, OK. About two years ago, she moved to Nash, OK.
Surviving are four sons, Merle and Terry, both of Nash, OK., Tom of Fort Worth, TX., and Ron of Helena, OK.; her companion, Harvey Doty of Nash, OK.; two brothers, C. R. Parker of Longdale, OK. and Russell Parker of Enid, OK.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters.
Memorials may be made to Nash Lions Building Fund or the church through the funeral home.
