We are looking for any children or grandchildren of Rachel
Hackett, who died in Portland in 1985. She was married to
Carrol E. Hackett who died in Omaha, Nebraska in 1973.
Rachel and Carrol had two daughters, Elaine and Nan A.
Hackett, who were born in the 1920s. They and their parents
were born in Wisconsin but lived in Minnesota in 1930 where
their father was a salesman.
Carrol served in World War I in Europe. He left behind an
object, with his name on it, that is presently held by a
member of the Belgian army who would like to return it to the
family. Would you contact me if you have any ideas as to
the whereabouts of the daughters or their descendants? We
do not know who or where they married but assume some
were living in Portland where their mother died.
