I truly apologize for presenting census information. Based on your LARGE amount of previous postings (588), you either have a good understanding of how to research in genealogy...or very good at posting and letting other people do your research for you.

So, in that mindset, forgive any patronization; but, I had to research myself to do the searching.

Based on family tree's posted Amanda Admire was first married to a Pugh. The 1930 census indicates they had only been married 16/17 years.

Clarance and Amanda were "found" in two census in 1930, just a couple of weeks apart, one in Washington, the other in California. Why the differences? Who knows. It strongly appears the Washington Census was done at the home of Clarence in Washington, the California at the home of Frank and Amandy. Were they all present at the homes as identified in both enumerations? Impossible to tell. In cases such as these, someone other than a family member MAY have given the information to the enumerator; or the enumerator wrote wrong information. Is it possible that Betty was born in between the two enumerations and that was why Clarence and his mother were there?

The 1930 Census for Summit, Grays Harbor, Washington, enumerated April 28.
Clarence Emmerson, age 32, first married at 22, born in Oregon to both parents born in Missouri, Section Hand, Logging RR (for the railroad?)
Myrtle, age 30, first married at 20, born in Colorado to father born in Illinois, mother in Missouri
Lannie (as written, Lonnie?) 9, born in Idaho
Bert, age 4, Washington
Betty, 5/12(then crossed out ? to look like "O/12?"), WA
Amanda Emmerson, mother age 52, widow, married 17 years, born in Missouri to both parents born in Missouri

The 1930 Census for American, Sacramento County, CA, enumerated April 9.
Frank Emmerson, age 53, married 16 years, born in Missouri to father born in Tennessee, mother in Missouri, general laborer
Amandy, age 53, born in Missouri to father born in United States, mother in Missouri
Clarence, 33, married at 21, born in Oregon, general laborer on the railroad
Carl, age 24, general laborer at a hospital.
Genevieve, 18

The 1920 Census for Melba, Canyon Co, Idaho.
Frank 41, Amanda L 42,
Emanual C, 14
Clarence H, 22
Myrtle I, 20
Genevie E 4 9/12.

A Robert Francis Emmerson died 29 June 1936 in Elma, Grays Harbor, WA, at age 20 days. Father was Carl Emmerson, mother Lucile Soule.

I checked www.findagrave.com and www.interment.net and neither had him listed. There was a John A, born 1878 in Missouri, but died in 1952, shares with M. Ellen Emmerson.
John was a son of Louisa Dorris and William Franklin Emmerson. Based on parents, is this a brother? Or wrong name on the stone?

The 1880 census for Elk Creek, Wright County, Missouri
William Emerson, 30
Louiza, 25
Mary, 8
Samuel, 6
X, 3 (could be Ale?)
Gohio(?) 2, son
James 6/12.

--Problem here, the Social Security Death Index for early 1950's is very sparce. Idaho Death Index... neither name is on it:
http://files.usgwarchives.org/id/statewide/vitals/deaths/191...

The BYU has a John Calvin Emmerson death in Ada County in 1952:
http://abish.byui.edu/specialCollections/famhist/Death/detai...
The potential Father is also on this Index:

Now... as to anything on these people after 1930. The only sources found were deaths. I looked at a number of different websites. I did find some family trees posted; but none had anything current; or they hadn't posted it for "privacy" reasons.
