I'm researching Jerome B. Walling (b Jan 1891, Idaho, USA)

Son of

Nelson Walling - 1852- 10 November 1923 (Oregon - Oregon)

and

Gussie Brewer Freeman Walling
1871 - (?) Alabama - (Oregon?)

Jerome shows up on the 1900 census (Portland, Multnomah, Oregon) as being born in Jan of 1891 in Idaho

And then on the 1920 census in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon
as being married to an Emma (age 34, born 1886) with Jerome being born 1886 with his parents in Iowa and "United States".

I've not found another Jerome Walling around that age living in Portland, and the "United States" as a place of birth to me is a clue that the job on the 1920 census was rushed or inaccurate.

I'm searching for marriage info between Jerome and Emma and haven't found them yet.

I threw this out in case someone knows any marriage information between Jerome and Emma or has any other info / censuses that indicate that this isn't the same one as on the 1900 census.
