Daniel G. Lane of Ninth Street, Colver, formerly of Carrolltown, died Thursday, June 6, 1996, at Windber Hospice. He was 47.
Born June 12, 1948, in Spangler, he was a son of George M. Lane and Leona (Stofko) Lane-Callahan.
He was preceded in death by his father, who died Dec. 14, 1963.
Surviving are his mother, Carrolltown; wife, the former Constance M. Prida; daughter, Amanda Marie; son, Daniel Jopseh; sister, Dorothy, wife of Roger Penrod, Carrolltown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lane was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was formerly employed by Keystone Coca-Cola, Ebensburg, for 18 years.
He was a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, 876th Engineer Battalion, Johnstown; Sabers Club, Post 363, American Legion, Ebensburg; Cambria Township Volunteer Fire Company, Colver; and Holy Family Catholic Church, Colver.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday, June 10, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. Interment followed in the church cemetery with military graveside rite by the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Arrangements were in charge of the Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown.
