Surnames: REESE
I had found someone a couple of months ago that gave me some papers. In these papers it states the Andrew and Sarah Grammar Reese, Welsh decent ( I am not sure if they mean Andrew, or Andrew and Sarah) born in Baltimore, Maryland. Arriving Clarion County about 1826 from Tryone, Huntingdon County (now Blair). Henry G. Reese was born there in 1810. Their children were Susannah Reese 1801 m. Davis Hosterman. Thomas Jefferson Reese 1804-1854 drowned in Clarion. He married Mary Ann Barlett. Margaret Reese b. June 10, 1806 in Sinking Valley, Huntingdon Co., PA married John Barlett. (Our line) This would show that they were in Huntingdon before 1810. There was a male then. Henry G. Reese b. March 28, 1810 in Huntingdon Co. and died April 14, 1900, married Jane Fox. It is thought that he had three wives. . Catherine Reese 1813 married Samuel Switzer. Lewis Reese 1815, Female 1817, Andrew J. Reese 1818-1891 m. Lavine Mast 1829-1856, and Sarah b. 1824 married Isaac Mast. I am still putting this family together. Anyone with addition Children let me know We are missing a male and female in the family. It may be two females. I one paper saying male and one saying female. Hope this helps someone

It seems that Thomas Reese may have been the first Reese in Clarion and the others followed. I have the following Children as Henry's John, Alvin, Sarah, Lou, Mary, Issac, Andrew J. If you have additional info. on these children let me know please.

Andrew died before 1834 in Clarion Co.
