February 6, 1963,MILL HALL -- William B. Carstater, 76, a native of MILL HALL and in recent years a resident of Mount Gretna, died yesterday at 4 a.m. at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He had been ill and a hospital patient for several weeks.
Mr. Carstater was born here February 21, 1887, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Carstater.
He leaves his wife, the former Elizabeth Frey, two sisters, Mrs. Anna C. Troxell, Sunbury, and Mrs. William J. Bixel, Williamsport; two sons and a daughter, L. Stewart Carstater, Philadelphia; Miles E., Miami, FL and Gladys, wife of Earl C. Smith, Rockford, MD. Also a grandchild and three great grandchildren.
