the article,a very touching piece.I knew of Sarah Peese-Boyer-Simcox.Awonderful lady in Centre Co.,Pa.had sent an old copy of the newspaper and a tape where she had spoke on .I carried it to our Boyer Family Reunion last june.She is a decendent of Matilda Boyer.There have got to be some obits out there.
Boyer;Was George Boyer married to Sarah Moore,Then Abraham-wife Hannah,Peter who was from Northampton Co.,Plainfield (also died in the rev. war)-wife Elizabeth (2 living sons Abraham & Leonarde) and Johann L.Beyer - wife Anna Christina whom came from germany.
I have George Boyers pension files but interrested in knowing of the family more.Also any old pics that might be out there.George had 8 living children with wife Sarah.Whom Sarah Moore-Boyer is buried in Washington Twp.,Jefferson Co.,Pa..
