I am quite sure we have the same ancestry here. My gggrandfather was Andrew Bell, possibly William Andrew,but he was born in 1840 Ireland. He married a Matilda or Metilda and had two boys Andrew William born April 1866 and Arthur J born October, 1868. You can find this on the 1870 census. Ten years later on the Pennsylvania Census, South Chichester, Delaware County, you will find that Andrew married Wilhelmina Bergdoll from Baden Germany. The two boys listed above were living with them. I assumed by that that Metilda had died. Wilhelmina was born abt 1852 and they had Jacob Bergdoll Bell, my great grandfather born in 1882 and died in 1947 in Jackson, Mississippi. They later had a son named Charles and a daughter named Anna Louisa.
Wilhelmina's father and mother were George, born 1822 and Augusta, born 1826 A. Werzenger in Baden, Germany who also came to Pennsylvania. Wilhelmina had 9 brothers and sisters, Phillip, Henry, Louisa, Annie, Rudolph, Jacob, Louis, Charles and George. If you wish, you can contact me at (757)375-8863 Rick Bell
