ZANESVILLE, Ohio - Ruth Lorraine Clymer, 82 of Zanesville (Muskingum County) Ohio passed away on March 17, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was born in Uniontown, Pa., on April 27, 1926 to the late Harold and Florence Kessler Cochran.

She served her country during WWII by joining the Civil Service and was stationed in Hawaii. Ruth worked at S. S. Kresge's, K-Mart and Elder Beerman and was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church where she was a faithful member of the choir. Ruth was an avid volunteer for Good Samaritan Medical Center and Genesis Hospice. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Harold Clymer of Zanesville, Ohio; Four sons, Larry (Karen) Clymer of Louisville, Danny Clymer of Stuart, FL, Randy Clymer of Columbus, Ohio and Tony (Ann) Clymer of Miami; Four daughters, Judy Clymer of Zanesville, Shirley (Morton) Roberts of Zanesville, Audrey (Ken) Rasmussen of Lyndhurst, OH and Nancy (Chris) Nash of Gainesville, GA.; Ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday March 19, 2009 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at The Snouffer Funeral Home 1150 W. Military Road. And one hour prior to funeral services that will be held Friday March 20, 2009 at 11am at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church 830 Military Road with Dr. Richard Boyer officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
