Alonzo W. JONES married Sophia Margaret CAMPBELL.

He was Civil War veteran and ex-postmaster of Mount Union under President Wilson.

They lived in Shade Valley where they farmed until they moved to Mount Union in 1901 and their home was on West Market street.

Their son Carson William Jones married Gladys June Gracey.
