Jan, See my earlier email. I found a couple more bits of info. Daniel & Lydia Ritter had another daughter, also named Lydia, B.1823, not reported on my earlier email. In his old age Daniel lived with daughter Lydia...not sure when wife Lydia died.
Daniel's dates are 5/11/1789 - 9/4/1878. His father was Martin Ritter (no dates) and mother was Margerete, maiden name & dates unknown.
