Ill the past four years with miners' asthma, William Cannon, aged 49, died yesterday at his home at Sugarloaf, where he lived for years. He was a miner by occupation and was a well-known citizen. He is survived by his wife and two children, Agnes and William at home. He is also survived by one brother, Charles and one sister, Mary.

The funeral will take place Wednesday mroning, with Requiem High Mass in St. Gabriel's church, followed by interment in St. Gabriel's cemetery.
