Nick Adams Funeral Rites In Berwick. Actor Nick Adams, 36-year-old Nanticoke native who was found dead Wednesday night in his home in Coalwater Canyon, Calif., will be buried Monday in Berwick, where his parents now reside. Adams, widely known for his role as "Johnny Yuma" in the former television series, "The Rebel," is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Adamshock, 1524 Second Ave., Berwick, and the grandson of Mrs. Catherine Kutzmonich, 1108 Crystal Hill Road, Berwick. A visitor to the Susquehanna River community on a number of occasions, Adams also has relatives in the Wapwallopen area. The funeral will be held Monday at 9 am from the McGraw Funeral Home, Berwick. A requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 o'clock in Ss. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Berwick, by the Rev. John Bilanych, and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Among Adams' relatives are an aunt, Mrs. Frank Adamshock, an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Kamionka, Wapwallopen RD and an uncle, Michael Kutzmonish, Dorrance Corners, Wapwallopen RD. He also is survived by his estranged wife, actress Carol Nugent; two children, Allyson, 7, and Jeb Stuart, 6, and a brother, Dr. Andrew P. Adams, a physician in Illinois.
