Notes
1. Robert is Buried in the Yarrison lot next to his Grandson Robert Yarrison at the
Lutheran Church Cemetery in Elinsport, Pa.( now St. Johns Evang.) just outside Elimsport. Rev. Max Furrnan,Pastor, Tel # 547-1386
2. Robert owned a 500 acre Hunting Lodge on Eagle Mountain, seven miles from Elimsport.
3. According to Mabel McGillivray Root, a Granddaughter of Eliz. Buchanan Brown (Mabel, lived with John & Eliz. and kept house for them as a pre or early teen ager), Pres. James Buchanan often visited the lodge and brought presents for the children.
4. Robert had a business partner- John F. Bartch, (wife - Caroline).
5. John E. Brown, working as a Woodsman at the Lodge met and married Mary Elizabeth, then moved to Park Station, Tompkins County ( near VanEtten) N.Y.. It was here that Mabel May McGillivray (Root) was bom, a Granddaughter to John & Mary Eliz.Brown. 6.From Mabel's notes- Pheobe Ann Klickner, her daughter Rose Houser of Newberry, Pa. stayed over night at Park Station. ---"After we were down to Newberry, Pa., the next summer Rose Houser, Robert Yarrison, Violia Hill, Betty Shaffer and Emma M. Buchanan came to Owego, N.Y. on a Sunday and we had a big dinner together, this was about 1935 + -.
7. Robert and Grandma had to walk 7 miles to church on sunday. The Church burned with all records.
8. Wes Haines, 27 years gone, married Roberts daughter, Harriett and moved to Calif. took all of Grandma's papers with them.
9. Mary Eliz. died Sept. 4, 1914 at Cayuta, N.Y.
