Looking for the parents of Charles D. WHITE, born Feb. 20 1820 in Lock Haven, Lycoming county PA. Charles had roots in Lancaster county PA. Eventually Charles removed to Venango county PA where he married Margaret Galbraith (b. 1818 Allegheny co. PA) in 1847. He settled in Sugarcreek, Venango co. The couple had several children. The 1860 US Census said Charles was living in Sugarcreeek along with Margaret. Their children were Sarah 12, Ann 11, Elizabeth 8, Martha 8, Mary 8,George Hamilton 6, James C. 4, Margaret 1 and Sarah Galbraith 63 , a mother-in-law.I think Charles was related to Alsinas Y. White (born 1822 PA) who shuttled back and forth between Erie county PA and Venango county. Charles passed away with TB in 1870. I think Alsinas was living in Sugarcreek in the 1870 US Census.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
