John A. Stevenson was born 1878 (possibly to a Dugan) and adopted by relatives with the surname Stevenson. His birth is recorded as 1878 in Lycoming County, but he could easily have been born in another state with sealed adoption records. He married Della C. Rhoades (b. 1881) of Lycoming County, daughter of George W. Roahdes (b. 1850). She was the sister of Adam Rhoades (b. 1870).

John A. Stevenson and his bride Della C. Rhoades Stevenson moved to Cambria County and had Stevenson children in Cambria including the great grandfather of my children.

My mother in law Joanne Stevenson has asked me to find the Dugan parent(s) that had to give up little baby John A. Dugan Stevenson (her grandfather) and/or the adoptive Stevenson family. Any leads anyone can provide would be great! I tried a PA website, but didn't find anything yet.
