James E. Hamler died at his home on Brown street, East Stroudsburg, on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock after suffering with paralysis since Friday. Deceased was about 65 years of age and was a veteran of the Civil War. He is survived by his wife and one son, Lewis, of Johnsonburg, N.J. Two brothers and one sister also survive as follows: John M., of Newton, N.J.; Andrew H., of Andover, N.J, and Mrs. Lenora Laller, of Columbia, N.J.
