I believe Richard Gilbert (1825-1900 New Hanover PA) had a sister named Catherine who married Joel Snyder. The US Census for 1870 has Joel Snyder of Pennsburg (next door to East Greenville) married to Catherine born abt 1831. We know from the obituary in the earlier post of this thread that Richard's sister was Mrs. Joel Snyder. Their children were Amanda, Horran, Ida, Franklin, and Anna.
